The TI-83 Graphics Calculator is essential for the study of MU120 and I believe MST121 and MST221

But because I was unsure if I wanted to complete my maths course I was initially reluctant to pay out so much money for a calculator that I may never use again after a few months.. so I searched google for "ti-83 emulator" as I figured one must exist.

I found many, and the one on this website I can guarantee exactly replicates the ti-83

Can be downloaded for free, and I'm sure it's the same as the virtual TI-83 calculators being sold on ebay.

I then used the search term "ti83rom.zip" and the first result in google provided a free ROM so the virtual TI could be used on my PC. I downloaded the file called ti83rom.zip from this first website.

I have since discovered that using a downloaded ROM file from the internet is illegal, so I would not recommend this to anyone, and you should use your own ROM file from your own TI-83 calculator when you purchase it to activate the Virtual TI-83

I now own my own TI-83 plus and use my own ROM file if I ever have the need to use the vti
