Many OU students are missing out because they find this forum, see there are hardly any members or posts etc, so they promptly leave again without joining or posting in the welcome section.

This is a misunderstanding because OUforum has a large traffic base... the only thing offputting is the lack of members... and the more members sign up the better this site will become..

So far this month (8th may) we have had 10784 hits.(24.34 hits/visit) That is amazing for a site that is only 2 weeks old.

On Checking the web stats here are just a couple of search phrases being used to get here

y157 open university
open university e844

Many more than this but just a sample... check google yourself..


Just register and post a welcome note. Many OU students visit here... You're here after all LOL, but you will probs leave too without registering

Registration is simple, and only takes seconds. All you need is a valid email address.

yeah it is kinda lonely here for now

but the site is only 2 weeks old, and already we get lots of traffic from search engines such as google and yahoo, so I suppose it's only a matter of time before members sign up, but I'm very impatient, sign up NOW

Even if you only sign up to advertise your OU course material for sale, you will get good exposure to folks looking for course material.

We just need to post more. (LIke I need a reason not to do my TMAs...)
